I just found out last night that I have gotten the scholarship that our local contra dance group and the Country Dance and Song Society give each year to go to one of the CDSS music and dance camps. I'll be going to Pinewoods (near Plymouth, Mass) for American Dance and Music Week, and taking the Contra Callers class. A whole week of music and dancing. I'm also going to try to do some calling while I'm up that way, and visit some friends I haven't seen in a long time.
