Dinner Party

jack_calls_dancesJust got back from a dinner party at my future father-in-law's house. This was a dinner group that he and Becky's step mom have been in for years. Quite a group. I always enjoy spending time with Bill and Linda (the in-laws), but it's been a long time since I was with a group that made me laugh so hard, and so often that my face hurt!! It was really good to get to meet them in a smaller group (most of them will be coming to the wedding, but I don't harbor illusions that I'm actually going to get to spend much time talking to folks for any extended period of time at the wedding (probably won't have time to eat much either...)) so it was really nice to get to talk to them this evening when we had time.
Right now, though, it's almost 1:00 AM and I have to be up for choir tomorrow and be at church by 9:00. Ugh. Time for bed.
